Belco Bowl Jam Celebrates 25 Years

Santa Cruz Skateboards have partnered with Independent Trucks as the presenting sponsor of the infamous Belco Bowl Jam 2026. This year marks the 25th year of the event and we’re beyond stoked to be part of such a huge milestone in Australian skateboarding.

From the outset, in 2001, none other than Duane Peters showed up out of nowhere to be a part of the first Belco Bowl Jam. The Belco community of skaters took that as a sign that they were onto a good thing. To this day, the original group of skate nerds and volunteers orchestrate the jam who do it for the love, fueled by sun stroke, dehydration, questionable sleep, fried chicken breakfasts and cold beers. It is ramshackle in the best possible way and somehow always comes together exactly how it should.

Over time, Belco has become a staple of the Australian skateboard scene. It is the kind of event that locals plan their year around and visitors travel for. The bowl, the energy and the crowd all come together to create something that feels right.

Now firmly on the world stage, Belco Bowl Jam attracts top pros from the biggest brands around the globe. Every year they roll in to soak up the atmosphere, get amongst the madness and experience the Belco they can only hope for.

Make sure you bookmark your calendar for February 20 to 23 and follow @belcobowljam for all announcements in the lead-up and throughout the event. Belco Bowl Jam 2026 is set to be one for the history books and you will not want to miss the leg wrestling at The Baso closing party.
